A New Beginning?? U bet!!!

It seemed like another shity week this week was going to be as the "RETAIN" showed. but ALAS! how everything changes in that very "one moment" that we face every other day... "to eat cai peng or to get hor fun??".... that "one moment" can make such a difference in any life... yours or mine alike
As i started to learn this week how these somewhat insignificant "one moments" could change how my somewhat boring week in Jurong to a week that is unforgettable.

Incident 1:

Mum's leaving for a M'sia holiday... I know.. but somehow my "one moment" to stop that alarm, and to snooze away in bed on this Monday morn...somewhat defined the week for me.....U2 woke me up...at 1030....shocked.. on the other end of the line was just a harmless A1.. but the damage's been done... SIGH....

Tired... sleeping clock was disturbed after a Monday late nite of "sweaty ears" with this amazing gal. I turned up at work like a zombie.. but once again thankfully the client was not giving us stuff yet..
My mind just went blank in front of the laptop..all i could think of .. the gal i had "sweaty ears" with..I think to myself.. i had to shake it off lah.. somehow it did sound a bit absurd that someone could be even this daring, this direct....
"Ok, let's call for cab" woke me from my snooze in front of the lappy......hooray!it's time to head home to feed the dog, wash my clothes and laze... but this tuesday was different.. coz in another "one moment", i made an appointment to meet "sweaty ears" gal again...
My prompt clean up and shower, and a quick change of clothes and I was out to her place to pick her up in COLT-ie. Dinner was quick but nice ... as usual... nothing we can't talk about... a nice cool breeze blew on our drive to West Coast...
Part YES Part NO.... my answer to a very direct proposal... but the build up to this was so natural, so mutual.... the NO had to go...The "one moment" that defined and summed up the week... happenned there and then...
She stood up from the bench, "Stand and i'll let u know the answer"... and that reassuring hand went for my right hand as soon as i stood and held firm there..... BLISS i thought, the defining moment....that "one moment"... that this week was all about.

Had made a choice to stay put at Chin Bee, all the guys have left. I just sat still, left my laptop on......"half an hr okie?" that familiar deep voice rang. Let's see... half hr... 840pm?... hmm...
Stood out on the road... a pair of headlamps lit up from a distance... and grew larger as the vehicle drawed near... its HER... it's once again that very "one moment"... why so? by now i guessed it was clear....
I was hungry... a quick bite and a nice walk in the park seemed to be the order of the nite ... it's becoming a routine.... but i know this nite was a little special somehow, just like how it was a couple of nites back... I was right.
"Drop me at the bus stop can already."... she refused.. so she turned into the carpark... i guess its that "one moment" where a decision has been made. My Laptop and docs are all in the boot. As we sat in the stationary car, conversation never ending even thou i was dead beat.... it was a good 10 mins before we decided that GOODNITE was here... then she bent over and gave me a nice peck on my lips.... i was in cloud 9... it's that "one moment"....... "one moment" of many "one moments" that colored my week.....
